Holidays in France





A deposit of €1000 per person is required to be paid within three days of receiving confirmation that your booking has been accepted.


The traveller's names must be provided exactly as per passport at the time of booking. Any spelling corrections made after a deposit is paid must be sent in writing and may incur additional fees.



By sending a deposit the client agrees to be bound by the terms, conditions and responsibilities. The client also agrees that:


All persons are fit and physically able to take part  unaided in the tour. All parties understand that any medical or dietary information provided to Holidays in France does not, under any circumstances, make us liable if a particular condition exacerbates while on tour or affects the ability of the traveller/s to participate in any portion of the tour.



The final balance of the travel arrangements is due no later than 75 days prior to the confirmed tour departure date as confirmed by acceptance of the booking.  Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in additional costs which will be passed on as a late payment fee of no less than €30 per booking or cancellation at the discretion of Holidays in France. Payments by credit cards will incur a fee.



The price quoted for the tour is from the meeting place in Bergerac, France to the departure point at the end of the tour.


Arrangements such as flights, transfers, accommodation, etc outside the set group arrangements/dates are NOT included. When booking your flights and/or train travel it is strongly recommended that you allow for sufficient travel time between destinations so that you arrive on time and do not inconvenience others on the tour.


Once a booking is confirmed name transfers are not permitted as this will be regarded as a cancellation.



All cancellations must be made in writing to Holidays in France and will be subject to the following cancellation charges from the date the written cancellation is received:


  • More than 75 days prior to departure; loss of deposit plus any administration fees.
  • Between 74-60 days prior to departure; 25% of total tour cost.
  • Between 59-45 days prior to departure; 50% of total tour cost.
  • 44 days or less prior to departure; 100% of total tour cost.
  •  Any ‘no show’; 100% of total tour cost.


In the event of a cancellation any refunds will be less administration fees. Regrettably cancellation charges and fees cannot be waived. There can be no exceptions. No refund will be made for any unused portions of the holiday after the commencement date.


Please note that employees of any overseas company or accommodation provider are not authorised to give any guarantees or agreements to customers in respect of refunds or any other matters.




Holidays in France reserves the right to cancel or vary a tour prior to departure due to insufficient numbers. In such an event alternative guaranteed travel dates will be offered. Should these options not be acceptable, Holidays in France  will refund the full price paid, less cost. If a tour is cancelled or varied prior to departure due to unforeseeable circumstances such as, but not restricted to, severe weather conditions or force majeure, Holidays in France  will refund all monies prior to departure less credit card fees.


Unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure, adverse weather, flight rescheduling, accommodation overbooking and faults with transportation or road conditions may also have an effect on the tour itinerary after the commencement date.



We retain the right to remove people travelling on group tours for reasons that impact on the enjoyment or safety of other tour members, such as, but not limited to, the physical, medical or mental inability of tourists to undertake the arrangements of the tour, unsocial or unruly behaviour, or the carriage of prohibited substances and materials. It is the responsibility of the tourists to conduct themselves in a proper and social manner. If any tourist is involved in unsociable activities or causes any wilful damage they will be required to make full reparations and excluded immediately. If they refuse to make full reparations they will be pursued to the full extent of the law.



Accommodation descriptions featured in this website are based on current accommodation guides provided by suppliers and contractual agreements. It is strongly recommended that all tourists travelling on these tours are adequately covered by insurance for the duration of their travel arrangements. Holidays in France cannot in any way be made liable for any additional cost incurred by the tourist on any tour. When booking to join a tour you understand that you are responsible for all your belonging, health, etc.



All tourists are required to familiarise themselves with any health requirements specific to France and particularly to south west France. Any medical/dietary requirements, must be completed and sent to Holidays in France. These requirements will be made known to restaurants where the participants on the tour will dine. It is a requirement that any customer with specific dietary or health requirements, must confirm with the restaurants on arrival that they are aware of these dietary requirements to ensure that the food consumed is safe for them to eat. If eating or drinking in cafés, it is the responsibility of the tourists to check that the food they order is suitable for their consumption.



A passport with a minimum of six months validity is required for tourists travelling. Should visas be required, the tourist must arrange to have a valid visa prior to departure.


We recommend that you review information provided by the government in your country prior to making your booking for the latest information. We strongly recommend that you familiarise yourself with the latest Government Consular advice and information.



Holidays in France acts as a co-ordinator for all persons taking these tours in the making of all arrangements for transportation, sightseeing and accommodation. Holidays in France does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, any hotel or restaurant or any other supplier of services. Holidays in France acts only as a customer for the owners, contractors and suppliers of transportation and/or other related travel services provided and assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage to baggage or property or for any injury, illness or death or for any damages or claims whatsoever caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents, loss, theft or damage to person or property, delays, transport failure, strikes, wars and uprisings or acts of God etc. over which Holidays in France has no control. We strongly urge all tourists to undertake a high level of personal responsibility in order to ensure that possessions, equipment and personal documents are closely monitored and protected at all times.

Tour itineraries and prices within Holidays in France's website are accurate at the time of publication and prices are in Euros. Once a tourist has paid the deposit, the standard regular price of the tour is guaranteed, subject to any increase in tax changes or levies imposed by any government or their agencies.


The prices for tours after 01 January 2018 are subject to change without notice.
